Yes, absolutely! Our designers have carefully selected the color and font combinations that work together, but if you have a need for a custom color or font, please let us know. The order form has a NOTE section and you can leave a message there for your designer with any special requests.

We don't charge extra for color or font changes.

Please feel free to browse our popular fonts and color swatches.

We love custom requests, but are limited as to how many we can take based on our current order volume. If you want a custom product, please email us at orders@pipsy.com letting us know what you want and the time frame.

We do not do any custom designs incorporating licensed characters (disney, star wars, hello kitty, etc.) due to US trademark and copyright laws.

We obsess over paper, and have spent a vast amount of time hunting down the perfect paper for our products. We sorted through hundreds of cardstocks to find choices that are heavy, thick, and still have a perfect print quality for both patterns and photos.

Nearly all Pipsy paper goods are printed on our Signature Cardstock. We love it SO much, we never want to use anything thinner or of lesser quality. Our Signature Cardstock consists of ultra-heavy, bright white 110-lb stock with an uncoated, matte finish. This hefty paper is made of 15% post consumer waste. Unless stated otherwise, our signature cardstock is used for all stationery, invitations, announcements and holiday cards.

Upon special request, we can customize orders with other cardstocks, such as gloss, pearl, cotton, or double thick.  Please leave a note to your designer on the order form if you want a specialty cardstock. There will be an extra charge for specialty cardstock based on the quantity you order.  Your designer will be able to quote you the exact cost based on your request.

Our stickers are printed on classic, ultra bright white sticker stock.

We have a wide variety of colors that have been tested for print vibrancy on our papers, mugs, and cases. You may view our color swatches here.

Proofs are an important part of what we do at Pipsy. Sometimes, it's hard to know what you really want until you see a sample. For almost all products, excluding Inchbug products, you have the option to see a sample of your design before we print. We are always happy to tweak proofs until they are perfect for you.

A proof is a digital image (a .jpg file) that shows the print preview. We send proofs via email approximately one business day after you order, and we are happy to make changes if you need them.

Yes!  If your product includes a preview proof, please just reply back to the email letting us know if it is approved for production, or if you need any changes.

The sooner we hear back from you, the sooner we start making your product.

At Pipsy, we understand that you don't always know how something is going to look until you see a preview. For that reason, we are happy to make changes if needed. If you need a few rounds of changes...don't worry. We understand and are happy to help!

Your proof is sent to the email address you have registered with your account. If you don't see your proof 1 business day after you order, please check your spam folder. Since proofs are sent as JPG attachments to email, they can get mistakenly get marked as spam.  If you don't see the proof email, please send an email to orders@pipsy.com and we will reply with your proof attached.

In rare circumstances, if we don't hear back from you AND we can tell your item is very time-sensitive, we will produce your product if we haven't heard back in a reasonable time frame. An example would be an invitation order where your party date is rapidly approaching and it's been several days since the proof was sent.

Proofs are typically sent 1 business day after you purchase. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays.

After you approve your proof, printing takes 3 business days (M-F) and shipping is via FedEx Ground.

We offer milestone sizes ranging from 30x40 inches up to 50x60 inches. Our nicest blankets are the 40x60" smooth and the 50x60" sherpa blankets.

Most babies are 20 inches at birth, and 30 inches at a year. For this reason, we recommend ordering a 40x60" or larger blanket if you want to use the blanket for the full first year.

If you need to order the smaller blanket due to price concerns, don't worry. After 6 months, your baby should be sitting up so you can use that pose to make the blanket size work. Please check our instagram feed to see some of the super clever ways moms have posed their babies.

It depends.

If you are buying a blanket that will be photographed, we recommend a smooth fleece finish because it doesn't reflect as much. The minky/fluffy versions print great, but they can reflect more light in photos. We do an annual photo shoot with a 10 or more newborn babies, and the professional photographers always choose the smooth fleece.

(Side note, if you are in Nashville, the best baby photographer around is Laura Janicek in Brentwood. She's amazing.)

If you are buying a blanket that is more of a snuggle or stroller blanket, then all of the choices are great. We have an ongoing debate here between the designers which is best. Elizabeth (company founder) loves the sherpas best. Kimberly (lead blanket designer) is a huge fan of the minky/fluffy.

We sell coffee mugs in 11 oz (standard) and 15 oz (jumbo) sizes. Most gift-givers order 11 oz mugs, but we find that people ordering for themselves tend to purchase the larger size. If you have a serious appetite for caffeine, the slightly taller 15 ounce mugs mean you don't have to refill as often!

Mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe. They are meant to be used, so we don't want a product with limitations!

We sell two case styles for iPhones, and always will have the latest phone models available the day they hit the store.

We use a permanent printing process on our fabric. We developed our lines for babies, and we know they will get washed a lot. They won't fade, so no worries there!

Wash our items as you would most things for your baby. Gentle cycle, cold water, tumble dry low. We don't recommend ironing or bleach with our fabrics, though.

It's a process! When you order, one of our designers will take your personalization and color scheme and create a design for you. We often are asked to match nursery color schemes, so our designers might be crawling all over the web researching a little elephant toy or wallpaper swatch that we were sent as inspiration.

After you approve the proof, we print a bolt of fabric with the custom design.  A seamstress will then sew the seams and elastic to fit a standard US baby mattress.

The final product is beautiful and very custom, but a lot of love and work goes into creating it for you!
